Kenny Tilton has been following his passion since the days of Duke Kahanamoku himself.  Born in Waikiki, Kenny made his first wooden board when he was just seven years old.  A highly regarded surfer and canoe paddler in his own right, he started shaping in the shops of the legendary shapers - Dale Velzy, Bing, Jacobs, Yater, Brewer  - the all time greats, starting in 1954!  From Hawaii to Japan, Germany, Spain, Tahiti...  Having made boards for a who's who of surfing champions and enthusiasts over the decades Kenny has come full circle,  from before the days of foam boards all the way back to making the finest classic koa boards for collectors today.    My photos may suck...( I'm workin' on it ! ) but Kenny Tilton himself is still a bear, and possibly making some of the finest boards of his life.   We are extremely proud to be the gallery chosen to offer his classic masterpieces.
